Nutribonsai ECO 250 ml.

This is an amendment used as a source of organic matter for the substrate. With the addition of Nutribonsai Eco, the substrate becomes more balanced, increasing its organic content and thus enhancing its biological activity and nutrient absorption, all of which are essential for the proper development of bonsai roots.

Composition:

  • 15% total organic matter.
  • 1% humic acids.
  • 1% magnesium oxide.
  • 0.5% iron.

Recommended dosage: 6 ml/litre of irrigation water, applied with a watering can until the water comes out of the drainage holes in the pot. Avoid wetting the leaves and flowers of the bonsai. Fertilising a bonsai should always be done during its growing season. Generally, these seasons correspond to spring and autumn, although for trees of tropical origin, we should also include summer. If we provide winter protection for the latter and they remain active during this season, we will also fertilise them. After spring sprouting, when the new leaves have matured, the tree will be ready to synthesise the fertilisers we provide. Fertilising before this time is useless and harmful. Likewise, fertilising at times when the tree is unable to use it, such as after transplanting, defoliation, or in cases of extreme weakness, can lead to its death. Fertilising during flowering can cause the flowers to fall.

We must bear in mind that excess fertiliser is more harmful to a tree than a lack of it, and that the most important time to apply it is in autumn, when the tree accumulates reserves to get through the winter and to sprout vigorously the following spring.
